Interested in Community Radio? Citizen Journalism? Check out the WRFI Community Radio Training Series!
On the last Sunday of the month, volunteers at WRFI Community Radio host trainings ranging from journalism to running a music show. Past workshops have included radio voice training, news script writing, and audio production. These trainings serve the WRFI volunteer community while creating a venue for new people to get involved with the station.

March 2015:
3/29 – News Writing I & II with Maura Stephens.
This is three workshops bundled into one full day- News Writing I & II, plus an on-air voice primer. This workshop is led by Maura Stephens, associate director of the Park Center for Independent Media at Ithaca College and veteran journalist, editor, educator, actor, director, producer, and voice talent.
