Tompkins County Workers Center Annual Labor Day Picnic

The Tompkins County Workers Center has been celebrating Labor Day with their Annual Labor Day Picnic for more than 30 years. This year’s event happened under sunny skies at Cass Park, and brought out community members from different labor sectors and activist organizations and parts of the county to celebrate a year of labor rights development, and to discuss what’s next for the labor movement in Tompkins County.

These are some voices and views from today’s Annual Labor Day Picnic.

We start out with Katie Nicholson from Tompkins County Progressives, Samantha Mason from Gimme Coffee, and Milton Webb from Casella Waste systems.
