Habitat for Humanity Breaks into the Ithaca Market [AUDIO]

WRFI News’ Katelyn Harrop speaks with Shannon MacCarrick, Executive Director Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties. Habitat for Humanity has been serving Tompkins County for three decades, but two current projects mark the organization’s first in Ithaca. MacCarrick tells us about the two local families buying new homes through TC Habitat for Humanity, and explains what makes the quest for affordable housing extra challenging in Ithaca, and across the county.
