Youth Organizing Fellows discuss the City of Ithaca’s People’s Budget [audio]

Members of the Youth Organizing Fellowship of the Multicultural Resource Center in Ithaca discuss “The People’s Budget”.  They talked about how they lobbied the City of Ithaca to allocate $ 10,000 from their 2018 budget to go towards projects in the city’s 2nd ward.  The students will choose delegates who will go into the community to ask residents what types of projects they would like to see in their neighborhoods.

This interview was produced by Esther Racoosin and initially aired on the November 21st, 2017 edition of WRFI Community Radio News.
