Stories from Quarantine From the Lives of WRFI Volunteers: A Family Copes [AUDIO]

We’re into week 12, but still in the storm of the COVID-19 pandemic. New York state’s Southern Tier is continuing into phase two of reopening. The state is relaxing restrictions surrounding in-person gatherings, but many are still in a state of isolation. Things are even quiet at WRFI,where we’ve been closed to all but a few staff members since March to limit the possible spread of COVID-19. On a special edition of our show on June 1, we are bringing you stories from quarantine, from the lives of our WRFI News Volunteers.
The final story in our show tonight explores how one family has coped with the struggles of life just before and during the COVID-19 shutdown. WRFI news team contributor Pamela Tan has the story.
