Stories from Quarantine From the Lives of WRFI Volunteers: A Third Grade Tom Sawyer [AUDIO]

We’re into week 12, but still in the storm of the COVID-19 pandemic. New York state’s Southern Tier is continuing into phase two of reopening. The state is relaxing restrictions surrounding in-person gatherings, but many are still in a state of isolation. Things are even quiet at WRFI, where we’ve been closed to all but a few staff members since March to limit the possible spread of COVID-19. On a special edition of our show on June 1, we brought you stories from quarantine, from the lives of our WRFI News Volunteers. First up on that program was one third grader’s perspective of what the pandemic has done to life as we know it. WRFI News contributor Fred Balfour reports.
