6:05: Call to Order

Fund Drive report

Our goal was $15,000 and we made it! This was an increase in goal over last year’s fundrive which was set at $10,000.

Committee Reports.

Development+Outreach

  • Discussion of keeping fundrive moment through the end of the year
  • LYBUNT (individuals who gave last year but not yet this year) - calls and email follow ups.
  • Calling major donors to say thank you
  • Discussion of membership program development

Personnel

  • We successfully hired an executive director!

ED Report

  • Humanities New York Grant awarded
  • Funding opportunity being explored for potential collaboration with Park Center for Independent Media & Ithaca Voice - more details to be explored

Succession Planning and Transition

Discussion of next steps for a smooth onboarding of the new executive director and how the board can best support that process

The Human Services Coalition offers grant opportunities for training opportunities; we should look more into this in early 2025

Consent Agenda

ICR Board Meeting Minutes 11-19-2024

Motion to approve last month’s board meeting minutes - moved by Peter, seconded by Joe. The vote passes with 7 votes in favor.

Note: we should consider a public announcement format for the new executive director.
