Development.

Open Country Event July 14, 2025.

We’ve secured the film for showing on 7/14. We’re seeking speakers for a panel; board members are reaching out to potential contacts.

Community Foundation Grant.

Thanks to Amie and Corinne for helping Ben to draft the narrative for this. Focus on arts coverage / Open Country event. 

Application is due tomorrow (5/14).

Committee Reports.

Development+Outreach

Calls to thank donors - calls or emails to donors from the Spring Fund Drive are assigned to board members. Check the list!

Donor feedback - source of reliable information; concern about bias in media, but doesn’t want to fall into the trap of presenting ‘both sides’ as if they are equal. Utilize knowledge and expertise at Cornell (and IC) more.

The board entered executive session at 6:44 pm.

The board exited executive session at 7:09 pm.

ED Report.

Focused on hiring and training two new staff members. Swag has been sent out to almost all donors from Spring Fund Drive. Underwriting is ongoing. There has been a little bit of end-of-semester volunteer attrition.

Tech updates.

Hungerford Hill Project - moving this transmitter will give us better coverage with our 88.1 signal.
