Local News for April 13, 2023 SUNY Ends COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate For Students SUNY students are no longer required to get the COVID-19 vaccine to attend classes. SUNY Chancellor John King announced the end to the mandate on Tuesday. SUNY will continue to encourage students, staff, and faculty to get the COVID-19 vaccine and boosters.
