- Canadian Wildfires Continue to Affect Finger Lakes Air Quality -

We are still experiencing the effects of Canadian wildfires. The state Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) says air quality in Central New York today is a risk for sensitive people. That’s anyone with heart or breathing problems, young children, and the elderly. Fine particulate can cause coughing, sneezing, runny nose, shortness of breath, and irritation to your eyes, nose, and throat. wearing high-quality masks like KN95 and N95. The warning lasts through the night.
