Through intimate, honest, and open interviews, “Living With Grief” explores the ways a range of people navigate the journey of losing a loved one. Sooner or later grief visits everyone. Understanding the process and knowing what others go through can help us all prepare for loss.

The series is produced by WRFI’s JT Stone. JT started with WRFI as a member of our Youth Radio Project where he worked with our very first youth broadcaster, Julian Eagle. Julian tragically died from Fentanyl poisoning in 2022. His death started JT on his path of processing and coming to better understand grief. Listen to JT's tribute to Julian here.

JT is now a journalism student at the SUNY's University at Albany and an intern with WCNY's Capitol Pressroom but fits in making new episodes of this program over summers and holidays.

The Finger Lakes chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness can provide information about grief support services.
