Official Primary Results are in for Tompkins County

TOMPKINS COUNTY, NY -- Official primary election results are in for the City of Ithaca Common Council races, the Tompkins County Legislature races, as well as races for elected town officials in Groton and Danby.

These results added absentee and affidavit ballots. Tallying those votes didn't lead to changing the victors in any of the races.

The results are as follows, provided by the Board of Elections.

 

COUNTY LEGISLATOR RESULTS

 

District 1 (4 year term) - Democratic  (Vote for 1)

Travis Brooks • 51.61% (369 votes)

Nicole LaFave • 47.97% (343 votes)

Write-in • 0.42%  (3 votes)

 

District  2 (4 year term) - Democratic  (Vote for 1)

Leslie Schill • 47.10% (260 votes)

Veronica D. Pillar • 52.72% (291 votes)

Write-in • 0.18%  (1 vote)

 

District 8 (4 year term) - Democratic  (Vote for 1)

Robert Lynch • 22.19% (69 votes)

Vanessa R. Greenlee • 77.49% (241 votes)
